「 Origin 」  ⫸ This Noble Phantasm is a manifestation of the lengths Rockefeller was willing to go to win in his business pursuits. His largest refineries in Pittsburgh were past the reach of Rockefeller’s new oil pipeline project in an attempt to break dependence on railroads. When Thomas A. Scott, owner of said railroad company, started building his own pipelines, Rockefeller could find no conventional answer when threatened with a cessation of shipments.     So what did Berserker do? All he did was send one order. “Shut it down.” He closed one of his biggest refineries. And as a result, Scott was forced to lay off thousands of workers, which resulted in a night of looting and smashing in 1877 which put the final nail in Scott’s coffin.    「 Function 」  ⫸ This Noble Phantasm activates an exchange. On Berserker’s side, the fire and lightning imbuement that comprises roughly half her firepower is disabled for about 72 hours. In return, the most recently used armament of the target, whether a Noble Phantasm or not, is permanently disabled. If magical, the magic operating the armament will simply cease to function, and if a physical weapon, blades will dull, clubs will become brittle, guns will jam, and bows will lose their elasticity. This sealing will not be reversed even after Berserker’s fire and electricity returns, nor will killing Berserker or using a cleansing effect remove it either.

「 Origin 」  ⫸ This Noble Phantasm reflects Rockefeller’s philanthropy in his later life, and is the dominant NP of Berserker’s “good” version. Following something he was told by his pastor, Rockefeller made an immeasurable amount of wealth and spent the last years of his life giving it away like there was no tomorrow. As a Servant, it manifests by enabling Berserker to give another participant in the Grail War a chance to make a better world through an improved chance of victory.     「 Function 」  ⫸ This NP activates on Berserker’s death, and MUST be activated. Berserker must select one remaining Servant participant in the HGW. Said Servant will be granted a portion of Berserker’s Spirit Origin and will gain a muted version of her overall powers and combat/diplomatic prowess. If this target happened to be inflicted with Berserker’s other Noble Phantasm, the sealing will be removed and the resultant armament now capable of functioning with an extra quarter of extra power (specifics can be negotiated and modified).

“Instead of shining gold, this girl shines silver. Her porcelain-pale skin and bob-cut silvery white hair sharply contrasts the darkness of the walls and floor. One of her eyes is a dull gray, but the other one shines in the yellowish-brown of brass: multiple gears turn and fidget in the small expanse that was the replacement of the eyeball, creating the impression that underneath the calm, serene expression was a supercomputer calculating every move. This all frames a lithe figure and limbs, clad in a gray male suit almost like tarnished silver to continue the visual metaphor, with a white dress shirt, black tie, gray dress pants, black dress shoes, and a white handkerchief in her jacket pocket. A brass brooch of a ticking clock surrounded by gears in a steampunk design sits on her thorax.     Her fingers work to pull back a pair of white cloth gloves studded with tiny, unmoving gears, secured by several brass snap-buttons along the wrist. On the left side of her head is some kind of ornament, made up of one larger gear, a smaller gear, and three antennae, one reaching towards her mouth like an earpiece from action movies. The gears twist and turn back and forth at seemingly random intervals with a mind of its own, mirroring that of her gear-based eye. A gray, translucent cloth, tied with black ribbons just below the ears, follows her hair downwards like a bride’s veil. Far from realistic, but it reminds you of a nun’s habit, at least the modified versions used in fiction."  -Quoted from FanServantober

Berserker is noted as having a pronounced ‘good’ version and a ‘bad’ version. The ‘bad’ version is the one summoned here.     In day-to-day interaction, Berserker is a stoic, composed woman who is intelligent, soft-spoken, and polite (she insists she is full-grown despite her short and slight stature). She does have a few quirks, such as sometimes failing to read the room, being overly direct, having a strange (and dark) sense of humor, and an obsession with mechanical tinkering.     In combat and diplomacy, however, Berserker reveals her other side. She is exceptionally ruthless and crafty even as she maintains polite, deliberate negotiation. She also tends to make dangerous gambles or outrageous bluffs, not out of temper or desperation, but a burning desire to win at any cost, with all other potential gains being secondary. She may seem the type that only redirects focus due to a lack of combat strength, but Berserker will frequently surprise opponents who believe she is all talk with perfect willingness to put up her fists.    Regardless of these traits, however, Berserker is above all a loyal and diligent worker, giving her all no matter the task. With a capable mind and hands, she will do her absolute best to lead her Master to victory.

However, her Berserker class is not for nothing, and she merely has her own way of expressing insanity. 「 Armaments 」  ⫸ Diplomatic Prowess  ⫸ Martial Arts  ⫸ Permanent Imbuement Spells (Fire and Lightning on Hands and Feet)  ⫸ Self-Magic Suppression Devices (Gloves and Shoes)    「 Tactics 」  ⫸ Berserker is a barehanded combatant who fights with punches, kicks, acrobatics, and a rather high level of agility. She tries to let opponents come to her whenever possible, and prioritizes strength slightly over speed. Her gloves and shoes are suppression devices for hands and feet that are wreathed in flame and crackling with lightning. Anything hit by them is liable to be badly damaged, whether organic or inorganic, which can be combined with the power behind each punch. However, Berserker also prioritizes negotiation, bribery, and subterfuge to keep as much true heat off of her as possible, seeking to break enemy alliances and incite opponents against targets other than herself. If the time ever comes to put up fists, however, she will run in hard.

「 Identity 」  “Berserker is John Davidson Rockefeller. He is one of the, if not the most, wealthy person in modern history. He made his fortune despite a piss-poor background through sheer hard work, good ethics (especially with his piety in religion), good selections of business, and sheer ruthless competition. He grabbed the kerosene and later the gasoline industry, scoring it massively big and, at one point, controlling 90% of all oil refineries in the US under Standard Oil.    However, the US government ruled that Standard Oil violated federal antitrust laws, and separated it into 34 different corporate entities, some of which still exist today (like Chevron). However, Rockefeller cleverly still profited from these separate entities-more than he ever did with Standard Oil, and even with his monopoly, still provided a good product at a relatively cheap price. He spent the later years of life engaged in a game of sorts where he tried to give away as much money from his first-ever-billionaire status as he could to various institutions like universities, libraries, schools, parks, and churches. Many of these never had his name, and he never visited them, so it is entirely likely you see one every day and never knew about it. He never made money for money’s sake, making it only a secondary goal; his goal was to win, and if he won, money would come with it anyway. He even said “I know of nothing more despicable and pathetic than a man who devotes all the hours of the waking day to the making of money for money’s sake.”  -Quoted from my Original Notes    A non-combatant Ruler version of this Heroic Spirit also exists, also as a Pseudo-Servant with Vera, that represents the ‘good’ side of Rockefeller while this Berserker represents the ‘bad’ side.
–  "Despite carrying the name of the Oil King of history, John D. Rockefeller, Vera is extremely secretive about her exact relationship to the name. The vaguely worded hints she diverges can range in interpretation from claiming that Rockefeller was always a woman, to being his adopted and never-mentioned sister, or even that she was the true brains or the “dirty   hands” behind the ruthless economic genius of the man. The most outrageous theory suggests that she is a cyborg created to provide some mechanical brains to Rockefeller’s operations.
